Writer's Block: It Sounds Better When You Say It  

No matter what language you speak, you've probably come across words or phrases in another language that sound better than their equivalents in your native tongue. What's your favorite word or phrase in a foreign language?

There are so many xD
"Screw it" or "screw you" or "told you" or "don't you dare"... actually, English sounds better than french when you try to express emotions (especially if you're pissed off xD)

Hmmm... French of course, English as you can see (xD), Polish (but I can't write it properly, even though my witing isn't that messy, I still make some mistakes) and Japanese (can speak it, read it a little but now write it yet). 4 then. I plan to learn more one day ^-^

What's the story behind your username?

Really simple actually (or at least, very logic xD)
"ikalenn" is the main character of the RPG I created fiew years ago.
For her, I wanted a symbolic name, that's why I applied my familly's tradition: all the girls in our familly have a name with 7 letters.
As I'm obsessed with "9", I also wanted this name to begin with the ninth letter of the alphabet : "i"
So "Ika" comes from "Icarus" and "lenn" from... "Lenore" wich means "to soften" in latin.

Ika - lenn

It was supposed to be a soft character, very feminine and warming, very curious, with a cute attitude ('cute' doesn't necessarely mean 'childish'). And she was supposed to be full of a hope for something she'd never reach and for what she'd eventually die for.

Who is your favorite fictional character? Why do you love them? What fictional character bugs you?

I like Mydia from Final Fantasy XII : Revenant Wings. I like her because we are quite the same, same story, same feelings... I hope not the same ending.  I usually like antagonists, as long as their goal is  justified and understandable to me. I like bad guys like Dr. House, sarcastic, cynical and cold. I think what I like in them is that they are angry because they are wounded and missunderstood.

As for characters that bug me... I'd say all the characters who are good without a reason. Nice, obediant,  full of moral valors that they heard somewhere and decieded to repeat them to everyone only because that sounds good. That bores me. Example? Cameron from "Dr. house".
